loads of photos to share
Ok well these are the rest of the LO's that I have done

This one for Bon's Scraps

and these 2 for 1,2,3 Challenge Cyber Crop

For Australia Day we took a day trip down to Phillip Island with our good friends Kerryn and Peter. It was a very looong day, but had a fantastic time.

We went to Churchill Island Farm

Then to the Koala Sanctuary

a short visit to the beach - where we saw this *shock*

I love this photo of Gareth and inspiration came from Trini's photography Challenge (back in week 1)

After the beach it was fish and chips for dinner with this view :-D

Then off to the penguin parade, we weren't allowed to take cameras in, but purchased these photos from the gift shop instead :)

Last but not least here is this week's entry into Trini's Photography Challenge - Australian Photos and Make it Meaningful

Missed my 100th post

LOL - didn't realise that my last post was my 100th (small things I know :?)

Cybercrop did you say??? there are/were so many on this weekend, it was really a take your pick or like me do 1 or 2 challenges in each. I really just looked at them all and did the ones that captured my interest.

Over at MaDscraps I did these 2

and this one over at Chook Scraps

and the last one (so far) was a scraplift challenge at Scrap Yourself Silly
You can see the original LO by Mel M Here(thanks Mel for letting me lift your LO)

There was also a Crop on over at 1,2,3 Challenge which you can still register for, you have until the 28th to upload entries :-D
and tonight Bon's Scrap's
also has CC on so I will check that out too. Mind you I think I may have scrapped myself out! 4 LO's in 1 weekend is highly unusual for me :-D

How Much Fun Was That!!!

I did an online class last night with Nic Finlayson over at Scrap To The Max and it was SO much fun!! The instructions were so easy to follow and I love the result that I achieved. All the doodles and writing are my own apart from the large flower in the bottom left corner which I traced from Nic's sheet. This is the first ever 'official' (by that I mean paid for LOL ) class either online or off and I really think I will do more online classes as I felt like I gained something from this class and would like to try more of this style LO down the track.
Thanks Nic!!
See Nic's LO
here

And this
is what I have done for Trini's photography challenge this weekend over at One Stop Scrapping

I have a weekend full of Cyber cropping planned :-D lets hope every thing goes to plan *wink*
Have a great weekend!

last few days

have been fun filled :)

Saturday I scrapped and even though there were a couple cyber crops on I didn't manage to find any inspiration to do the challenges. I did however scrap this LO ....

looks nothing like I thought it was going to though when I started out. But I like it and that matters most :)

Sunday we headed over to Kerryn's in the morning and the kids had another play while we chatted more :) then from there we headed up to my friend Jenni's place so the kids could have a play with her DD (her DS is a little small to join in yet :) )and check out the new trampoline LOL and of course we had a good chat while they played.

On Monday we headed down to Edithvale beach with a friend and her DS, we got there about 1 and left at about 430. The kids had the best day. I enjoyed being out of the house and watching the kids have so much fun. Bad mum though :( I put sunscreen on them.... however this morning you can see the spots where I din't get them properly as the have red stripes in places (not tooo bad, but still :( ) Will definately pay a bit more attention next time.

Today the kids are in creche (nice and cool there for them!) It is stinking hot out there :( I really detest this heat and can't wait for the cooler weather.

I can't believe there is only 2 weeks until Brad starts 4yo kinder! He is so looking forward to it.

I forgot at the end of last year to book my kids a place in this year for swimming :( rang today and have got them in. But Brad will have a new teacher and Sian has the same teacher but a new day. Never mind at least they are in.
Brad may even stop swimming later in the year as we have found him "a real soccer team" to play in *his words* It's called goal kick, alot like Auskick I believe and they take kids from 4 1/2 upwards. He is so excited he comes out with his shoes and says I will get them ready now mum! (Season doesn't start until April!! ) It is great to see him so excited though.

Until next time... be Happy :-D

Well I will start by sharing my LO for the 1,2,3 Challenge this month .... Make journalling the focus of your LO, Use Fabric and lots of chipboard. :)

Trini over at
OSS has chosen 'red' as her Photography challenge... interpret as you will .... this is my interpretation :)

This last week has been a little trying with the heat, I really don't cope that well, but there is more of the same to come in the middle of next week :( I saw some Powerade light in Coles and though hmmm maybe give it a go and see if it helps with some of this tiredness that I can't seem to shake... well now I don't know if it was the cool change or the Powerade, but last night I scrubbed my bathroom from top to bottom and now have a blister on my knuckle *ouch* and then up this morning kids brekkie and dressed, my coffee and brekkie, checked my forums, did 3 loads of washing, tidied the lounge and kitchen, played outside with the kids and back inside for another coffee all before 11am *SHOCK* well wherever it came from I want more (please LOL )
Anyways Kerryn and her 2 little ones arrived about 11am and then Rebecca and her 2 girls around 12noon. It turned out to be a really great day with lots of chatter and laughs and some serious sorta stuff too :) The kids all got along really well, a few minor altercations, but nothing too stressful :)
Gareth is off with Kerryn's hubby to a gaming session on Sunday, but I can't complain he is really good with letting me go to my scrap catchups and then the retreat in March/April. :-D

Have a great weekend everyone :)

another one!!

This one was done as one of the challenges over at One Stop Scrapping It's a new challenge titled Inspired By that Tammy is setting this year. I really enjoyed this, but I am not sure if I like it... Gareth says that it's because it is so different to my others and it's not purple LOL
Here is the picture that Tammy gave us to work with.
and here is what I came up with

I am doing an online class with Nicole Finlayson over at Scrap to the Max later this month and I am really looking forward to it. My first offical class LOL - It's doodling and Handwriting.

In other news... there is not much :)
I am really hating the heat that we are having at the moment :( and it's probably going to get alot worse before it gets better.

A LO to share

Bon over at Bon's Scraps
set a NYE challenge .... had to be a song title and lots of colours ..... got the song title, but not alot of colours :( ... unless you include the colours in the photos and tickets themselves LOL

Happy New Year!!

Happy 2007 to all. I hope you all have a wonderful year.
I have started my new year with a new attitude and feel alot less stressed than I have been in some time :-D

We spent New Years Eve with our good friends Kerryn & Peter. We had a few drinks but didn't go overboard. We played the Wii (new nintendo game console) talked, ate, and overall had a great night :-D It also rained which was fantastic as for awhile it was quite heavy and I certainly know the lawns are showing the results from it. :)

My Aims this year start with losing some weight, being healthy and doing more stuff together as a family.
Scrapwise I would like to improve my scrapping and maybe get a LO published. But these last 2 are not resolutions as such, because if I don't achieve them then so be it.

Some photos I took NYE :) and one more personal one that I thought might be a good way to keep me on track weight wise this year :-D

*edited to add this message that was sent to me on New Years Day*
