TIme Flies

Wow is it really only 6 Days until Christmas???

So much to tell and photos to share... (I will share photos when the internet is no longer capped *roll eyes* )

So in December we have had concerts, catchups, school transition, lots of sickness,
ups, downs, highs and lows

We have had Brad's Carols at school which was really good, especially when a group of the teachers and parents got up and sang we are the world, everyone joined in and made it fun. It was a fantastic thing that Craig Irvine put together. He is a fantastic teacher and I must say I am really pleased to hear he is helping out with the preps next year as well as being the PE teacher. Brad has a new teacher (Marnie Ross) and a new class for next year. A few faces from this year in there with him, but for the first time he and his best mate are in different classes. I think this could be a good thing though in the end as the boys both excel in different areas and I think this will show in the classes that have been formed.
Sian has Ros Hill as her teacher, I think she will be a fantastic teacher also. She is not the teacher Brad had in prep, so it will be an interesting experience to see how their teaching styles vary.

Sian had her concert at kinder and this was a little emotional after being at the kinder for 4 years this was the last one. A great feeling to be finished kinder and 2 different drop offs and pick ups. But sad to say goodbye to a fantastic staff and families from the 4 years. Sian and Bec are going to a different school to the rest of the kids. She is really excited about school, but hasn't quite grasped that she is not going back to kinder.

We have all been sick ... I have had a cough/cold for over a month now and I am over it!! The doctors say it's a virus and there is nothing that can be done other than to rest... something that I am not great at doing! Brad still has a really bad cough and they say just treat it with ventoling... rather frustrating as I don't feel like it is getting any better.

I am hoping that the holiday to South Aus will see us all getting some rest and coming home a little healthier.

My friends little girl was born at 27 weeks, but the good news is that she is doing really well. I just hope that the nasty nurse is sorted out. She doesn't need the added stress. From all I believe most of them are good though. Sending lots of strength to Miss Lucy (Lucinda Grace) gorgeous name :)

We caught up with Kerryn and Peter for Christmas the other week and that was a great night with some really yummy food made by Kerryn and a choc ripple cake from myself.

I have really done no craft for ages now. I am hoping I will get back into it in the new year.

Work is up and down. I have had time off with illness and then all christmas activities and I think that might have annoyed the agency a little, as I suddenly had my hours cut back, but that's life I am casual after all. That is going to change in the new year though I believe... I already have a full week the first week in January. I enjoy my job though some times it is hard to get myself motivated to get there. Once I am there I am fine.

I am really looking forward to catching up with some scrappy friends tonight and then heading off to SA early Wednesday morning :D

If I don't update again .. Have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year, may 2010 be everything you hope for.
