Brad needs the rest and time to recoup I think, both him and Sian are making me tear my hair out at the moment with their attitudes. BUT it's not every day, it just feels like it at the end of a bad day. Tomorrow will be a better day I am sure of it :O)
We received Brad's report and had his Parent Teacher interview and we are really pleased with his progress as are his teachers. Aparently his teacher has had other teachers ask 'who is that kid' when he is playing sport. That's my Brad, little sportsman first and foremost LOL - I am pleased that he is doing really well in both numeracy and literacy. He read us a book from his shelf the other night which blew me away a little. (in a good way) Where he does lack a little 'focus' is with keeping focused, following steps with out being distracted and fine motor skills need some tuning, but we will work on that, I don't really see it as a big problem, but I don't want it to become a problem down the track either.
Sian is also thriving in kinder and loves it. I think the problem there is that the sessions are not long enough for her.
We have had headlice go through the house last week and it's the first time ever I have had to deal with it ... I just want to say YUCK!! I hope we never have to deal with them again. That was a big stressor for me. Not sure why really, maybe it's because it was something that I couldn't control.
We are off to my parents for a weeks R&R and boy are we looking forward to that. I think Gareth is planning on us having a date why we are there which will be great as well. :O)
I have entered some photos into the local photo competition just for fun. It will be great to go and be able to see all the photos taken from around the region and get some ideas and inspiration.
Gareth is loving the fact that I have taken to playing his online game with him of late. I think he sees it as something we are doing together! As much as I said I wouldn't play it and wouldn't like it. I have been proved wrong and I have enjoyed playing it with him. haha!
The other thing we are wanting to do is get our hands on a Wii Fit, we were going to buy one back in May, but said no we will leave it until June pay.... BIG mistake. We are really struggling to be able to find one anywhere. They will be back in stock eventually, but as Gareth says every day we don't have one is a day that we could have been exercising using it. Our friends have one and she lost over a kg in a week, we had a go while there one night and it is so much fun, what an awesome way to lose weight!!
Well not alot more to update at the moment. But here are some Design Team Layouts that I did for One Stop Scrapping :O)
